Gas charges: This is the amount (£) equivalent to the amount of gas (m3 ) you have used during the billing period. This varies according to the amount of energy used at your home or office.
?
Standing charges: The monthly charge paid for the administration of your energy supply. This is a daily rate which, depending on whether your tariff is fixed of flexible, is calculated based on the billing period.
