Charges:
The first part of the bill is about your energy consumption.
Electricity charges: This is the amount (£) that you need to pay for the electricity (KW/h) you have used during the billing period. This varies according to the amount of energy used at your home or office.
Gas charges: This is the amount (£) equivalent to the amount of gas (m3 ) you have used during the billing period. This varies according to the amount of energy used at your home or office.

Standing charges: The monthly charge paid for the administration of your energy supply. This is a daily rate which, depending on whether your tariff is fixed of flexible, is calculated based on the billing period.

Discounts: If you have an online account with a fixed contract, ENSTROGA offers an annual discount. The credit you see here is the proportional amount of that price according to days.

VAT: 5% Value Added Tax is a government tax that is added to your bill.
?
Payments:
This is the total amount you have paid during a billing period. This is shown as a credit to you on the bill.
Refund: An amount paid by ENSTROGA into your account to settle the difference between what you paid and your real energy usage.

Total Payments & Credits for this period: The total you have paid including payments and credits.
?
New Account Balance: The difference between the Charges and the Payments & Credits. If the total of charges is greater than the Payment & Credit amount, you will be charged the difference. If the total of charges is lower than the Payment & Credit amount, your account will be in credit for the next bill depending on your future consumption.

Personal projection: This is an estimation of the amount you will spend and the electricity you will use over the next month made by looking at your real usage over the billing period.

Relevant cheapest tariff: This lets you know which tariff you are currently on.

Your Electricity Charges:
This part of your bill explains how your energy usage is calculated.

Meter Serial Number: This is the unique serial number assigned to the electricity meter in your home.
?
Register: Reflects the Meter Type (Standard, Economy7 and Economy10). For Standard, the register has a single rate, for Economy7 two rates, and for Economy10, three.

Period of Usage: The period for which you are being billed.
?
Energy Usage: The energy use you are paying for each kilowatt-hour (KWh) is charged by a unit rate calculated as pence per kilowatt (p/kWh).

Standing Charges from (date) to (date): Amount of £ charged per day to cover the service costs of your supply.
?
Total: The total amount you will be charged, including energy usage and standing charges during the complete period of usage.

Tariff Name: The tariff you have chosen with ENSTROGA. This will either be a Dual Fuel tariff (gas & electricity) or an Electricity Only tariff.

Tariff Type: This can either be fixed, meaning your unit rates and standing charges are fixed for 12 months, or variable, which means that your unit rate can vary according to wholesale prices.

Payment method: At ENSTROGA all payments are collected by Fixed Direct Debit, which means the funds will be taken directly from your bank account.

Tariff ends on: The date when your current tariff ends.
?
Price guaranteed until: The unit prices remain the same until the date shown here.

Exit fees: Some fixed tariffs include a small fee if you decide to cancel the account early.

Discounts and additional charges: If your tariff is subject to any discounts or additional charges they are shown here.

Additional products or services included: If you have contracted any other products or services they are shown here.

This part of your bill explains how your energy usage is calculated.
